Where to find us ..... Steady Brook is located at exit 8 off the Trans Canada Highway, it is 5 minutes east of Corner Brook, or 25 minutes west of Deer Lake. Traveling by air? The Deer Lake Airport has daily flights from St. John's and Halifax. Shuttle service can be provided please ask for details. Further connections can be made from any major city, Boston, New York, Ottawa, Toronto etc.
You can reach the island by Marine Atlantic Super Ferries that carry hundreds of vehicles and passengers. Marine Atlantic operates all year from North Sydney, Nova Scotia to Port aux Basques Newfoundland. The drive from Port aux Basques to Steady Brook on the Trans Canada highway (Route 1) is approximately 2 1/2 hours through breathtaking scenery.
